If you’re eager to enjoy some more Kingdom Hearts III footage, Director Tetsuya Nomura himself had good news to share today.
A few days ago, Nomura-san mentioned three dates in which new videos would be published, but today he reached out again on Twitter with an updated schedule.
The new schedule didn’t just include the precise timing for most Kingdom Hearts III trailers, but it also revealed that there will be more videos than initially predicted.
Below you can read all the dates and times and set your alarm accordingly. Of course, all times are JST.
- Dec. 10 at 00:00 – New Trailer
- Dec. 16 at 18:00 – 30-second commercial for theaters in Japan
- Dec. 18 at 17:00 – Final Trailer
- Dec. 21 (time unspecified) – Three 15-second commercials
As usual, Nomura-san mentions that timing can change slightly depending on the situation.
Incidentally, we also hear that the game will be exhibited at Jump Festa on December 22nd and December 23rd. That being said, it doesn’t appear there will be a dedicated new trailer.
Speaking of Kingdom Hearts III trailers, Amazon’s recent promise of a new one pretty much misfired. On the other hand, we got some new artwork featuring Kairi a few days ago.
It’s almost surreal to think that we’re less than two weeks away from seeing the “final” promotional video of this game after all these years.
Kingdom Hearts III will finally be released on PS4 and Xbox first in Japan on January 25th. Western gamers in North America and Europe won’t have much longer to wait in order to play, as the game will launch on this side of the Pacific Ocean on January 29th.
