We have grown accustomed to Lara’s classic bow and arrow, but this trailer focuses on Lara’s heavy-duty weaponry. From the brief 39 second video, we see Lara rocking a machine gun and taking on a helicopter with an automatic rifle with an attached grenade launcher. However, bigger doesn’t always mean better, and Lara will be bringing the heat for any close quarters situation. Automatic pistols, shotguns, gas bombs, and a whole spectrum of tools will be at your disposal.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the third installment in the 2013 reboot series and finds Lara racing to prevent a Mayan apocalypse. Each chapter in the reboot franchise has served set Lara further down the path of the dual-wielding tomb raider of years past. Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015 was a critical darling upon release, and our review called it a “a deeper and more polished version of its predecessor.”

Shadow of the Tomb Raider lands on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14.
