The Shadow of the Tomb Raider hype train is content to keep rolling on through, with a new trailer released today showcasing the “stunning world” Lara will be able to traverse on her travels. You get to see 30 thrilling seconds or so of just some of the various locales she’ll be facing up against when she goes on the latest journey of her Tomb Raider career. This third and final game in the trilogy is meant to be her final step in her metamorphosis into becoming the Tomb Raider she’s meant to be,

Eidos Montreal’s adventurous new game will feature plenty of ways for Lara to prove herself as she makes her way through the new hub world of Paititi and finds herself up against several different new challenges, including a new threat that could put the safety of the entire world at stake. You know, just a typical weekend job for Lara Croft.

Nathan Drake, eat your heart out. Shadow of the Tomb Raider will launch on Sep. 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This game is said to bring Lara’s current trilogy to an end, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see more of her in the future.
