Launched on June 27, the game’s campaign has already raised $526,641 from 7,678 backers and continues to climb, far surpassing the original goal of only $50,000. McMillen has since been hard at work updating stretch goals and has promised a Reddit AMA in honor of the achievement.

Based off of McMillen’s massively successful The Binding of Isaac, Four Souls is a table top card game which incorporates characters, bosses and elements from the title into a competition between players to gather four souls. McMillen has also stated that the game will incorporate the randomness and variety the game is known for through the number of bosses, power ups and loot available in each play session.

The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls campaign is set to run until July 27 with a final launch window of Nov. 2018. Those looking to secure a copy can do so by contributing $25 toward the project before the deadline and can keep up with every update via the game’s official Kickstarter page.
