Microsoft announced today that eight more games would be joining its Xbox Game Pass subscription service throughout the month of July.
Starting July 1, these seven games will be available for pass members to download and play: Abzu, Dirt 4, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, Human Fall Flat, Shadow Complex Remastered, and Zombie Army Trilogy. The entirety of the lineup are Xbox One games with the exceptions of Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Both of these Xbox 360 titles are backward compatible with the Xbox One and include Xbox One X enhancements such as “higher resolution, 9X the original pixel count, and expanded color details.”
Strategic simulation game Bomber Crew joins Xbox Game Pass on Tuesday, July 10, while Warhammer Vermintide: 2 will be added the next day on July 11. The sequel to the Left 4 Dead-inspired 4-player cooperative game also launches for Xbox One the same day. Microsoft also teased another addition to the catalog would be announced on its Inside Xbox broadcast on July 10.
The monthly subscription service has been steadily adding between five to 10 games each month, with last month notable in particular. In addition to the six games announced for June through social media, Microsoft spent a small amount of time at its E3 presentation revealing that Fallout 4, The Division, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited would be available on the service after the presentation. Xbox Game Pass will also receive a new feature called “FastStart” in a June update, which uses machine learning to start a game in half the time while the rest of the download happens in the background.
