Switch fans eager for more information on Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will be pleased to know that Nintendo released a bevy of new information on the game today, going so far as to showcase some actual footage of it in action.
Taking place over the course of seven unique game types (an action game, racing game, and puzzle game were confirmed), Travis Strikes Again will offer co-op multiplayer in-game, with the second player taking control of the bat-wielding Badman. Of course, he joins the No More Heroes’ signature protagonist Travis Touchdown in all the bloody, fantastic fun to be had. It seems as though players can simply pass a Joy-Con controller to another person in order to participate in what co-op has to offer.
Fans were treated to what could be story information about the game too, as Travis is described as being on the hunt for every bug he can find while trapped within the game console he accidentally got sucked into. Titled “Adventure Mode,” a brutal boss battle awaits players at the end of each game, a lot of which can be found in the trailer below via some flashy character designs.
A firm release date wasn’t given, though Nintendo did confirm that the title is due for release later this year.
