My Time at Portia is a farming simulator that also lets you live our your personal life. While you might be busy farming and taking care of your animals, you can also save up enough cash to remodel and upgrade your modest home. Revamping your living quarters comes with a handful of new features, so it’s definitely worth looking into it.

To upgrade your house, you’ll have to expand your yard to get more land. Similarly, you’ll also have to move any obstructions, such as buildings, on your land to make room for your bigger house.

Once things are in place, you need to head on over to the A&G Construction Building to start your renovations in My Time at Portia. This building is located next to the Commerce Guild, so it shouldn’t be too hard to miss. From there, head over to the table and look for the catalog to start upgrading.

You can upgrade your house up to three times, turning that tiny shack into a grand mansion. Apart from the gold, you also need to supply your own materials to upgrade your house in My Time at Portia. Here’s everything you need to get your own dream home:

Level 2 Upgrade:

  • 20 Hardwood Planks
  • 20 Bronze Bars
  • 10,000 Gols

Level 3 Upgrade:

  • 20 Iron Wooden Planks
  • 20 Aluminum Plates
  • 10 Strengthened Glass
  • 50,000 Gols

Level 4 Upgrade:

  • 20 Aluminum Plates
  • 20 Concrete
  • 10 Wooden Pillars
  • 100,000 Gols

Each upgrade gives you a nice bonus to your max health, stamina, attack, and defense. On top of that, you can even invite two pets to live with you once they become your buddies. Upgrading the house once also unlocks marriage, letting your partner live with you in your refurbished home.
