Bungie had provided a huge, rough outline for the game’s upcoming updates a few weeks ago, explaining the studio planned to fix lingering issues and expand with more content for all players. The major updates were separated into four dates throughout 2018: Jan. 30, February, Spring, and Fall. The new roadmap comes after the first update went live yesterday, adding Masterwork armor and reworking rewards for the Leviathan Raids.

“Everything you’ll find below will be delivered to every player of Destiny 2,” wrote game director Christopher Barrett in the post. “Some of these delivery dates may change, but everything you see listed here is being worked on by the team.”

Destiny 2 Roadmap

The next update, version 1.1.3, is slated for Feb. 27 and plans to add scoring to the Nightfall Strike, alongside a “stretch goal” to add more unique rewards to the activity. The patch will also add a public text chat for the PC version and allow other Fireteam members to be shown on the map.

The 1.1.4 version comes a month later on March 27 with a focus on the Crucible and Strikes. The PvP side will gain a 6v6 Iron Banner mode, gameplay tuning, and quitter penalties while Heroic Strikes will add modifiers. The patch will also prevent players from repeating the same maps and missions.

The May update drops alongside the third season with a Prestige version of the Leviathan, Eater of Worlds raid, which the normal version was introduced in December 2017. Bungie also plans to add private matches, seasonal Crucible rankings, more vault space, Masterwork exotics, and a stretch goal to improve the mod system.
