Noctis will have a host of weapons to choose from in Final Fantasy XV, including the two types of “gun” and “machinery.” The latest issue of Weekly Jump in Japan, shows off the main character sniping and wielding these two different kinds of weapons, along with some details. Guns: There are various types of guns that include everything from pistols to rifles, that allow you to shoot at a distance. Depending on what type of gun you’re using, Noctis can use Snipe Mode to shoot with the scope from far away.
Machinery: Machinery type weapons were first introduced in Final Fantasy VI, and the style of attacking greatly varies between each weapon. For example; you can send powerful shock wave attacks by using the “Attract Wave,” or you can use the “Circular Saw” to deal heavy damage with its high speed, rotating circular blade.
Final Fantasy XV released on November 29, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Square Enix released a new “World of Wonder” video this week, this time with Noctis himself guiding you through the world of Eos. Final Fantasy XV will also be getting an Orchestral Concert at Abbey Road Studios, that will be livestreamed this month.
