The preorders are a bit confusing, but this guide will explain what Bandai USA, Bandai EU, Steam, and Gamestop are offering.

Preorder One Piece Odyssey From Bandai USA

The first place where you can preorder your copy of One Piece Odyssey is on the official Bandai USA webpage. The options here are for the physical version depending on the platform you choose. The Standard Edition choice opens up a page where you choose which console platform you want. You can order a maximum of two copies across all available platforms.

When choosing what to preorder, you can select from the standard edition, which is the lowest-cost option for just the physical game. Without shipping costs, this version carries a price tag of $59.99. From there, you can step up to the Limited Edition Bundle for any of the three consoles. It’s important to note that the Bandai USA preorder does not list any virtual in-game extras.

However, the Bandai EU store lists the virtual items as a preorder bonus. Therefore, the preorder bonus items may or may not be included when preordering from Bandai USA.

Preorder One Piece Odyssey From Steam

You can also order from Steam, although this only gets you a digital download of the game. The standard Steam version lists additional in-game content to help you as soon as you start playing. They list the preorder bonus as 10 Energy Apples, 10 Excite Apples, 3 Golden Jellies, 100,000 Berries, and a Traveling Outfit Set for the whole Straw Hat Crew.

This preorder bonus is also being offered by Gamestop. Although Gamestop shows the Bandai Namco preorder bonus image, this image is nowhere to be found on the Bandai USA preoder page. This bonus is most likely included with the Bandai USA preorder, but it’s strange that there no details about this on the Bandai USA page.

One Piece Odyssey Limited Edition Bundle or Deluxe Bundle

Each Limited Edition Bundle from Bandai USA comes with the Standard Edition and also includes a Luffy & Lim figurine. The official Bandai EU website lists this is as a Collector’s Edition and includes an additional steelbook, postcards, and a collector’s box that have not yet been verified for the Bandai USA Limited Edition. The Bandai USA site also notes that a Preorder Bonus is included with this bundle, but there’s no way to verify exactly what it is.

There is no Limited Edition Bundle available on Steam or at any retailers. However, you can preorder the Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam. The Deluxe Edition has the Adventure Expansion Pack, Adventure Expansion Pack Bonus, 100,000 Berries, and a special outfit set for Sniper King Usopp. On the Bandai EU page, the Adventure Expansion Pack grants future Story DLC and the bonus is another 100,000 Berries.

In conclusion, the only way to get everything for the physical versions is to live in the EU and order the Bandai EU collector’s collection. The next option is the Bandai USA preorder that includes the figurines and preorder bonus. Preordering only the standard physical game for your console might be best from Gamestop since they list the preorder bonus and guarantee that you will receive the in-game code within 2 business days after your order ships.

And that’s how you can preorder One Piece Odyssey, along with all the bonuses you get. This new One Piece game treads the territory of JRPGs with an original story that introduces new characters. While some might dismiss this as something akin to a filler episode, there’s nothing wrong with other official One Piece stories as long as they provide fun and entertainment for the fans of the series. And if you’re all caught up with the One Piece anime, you should check out similar series that will keep you entertained while you wait for new episodes and your copy of One Piece Odyssey.
