What Is Strand in Destiny 2 Lightfall?

In the newest trailer for Destiny 2 Lightfall, we get to see all about the new Strand subclass, a green-colored class that focuses on traversal via spider-man-like whips of energy that feed on darkness. According to the developers, they wanted this power to focus more on consciousness than creation.

Strand is psychic energy that connects all living beings together, and Guardians can now take those connections and weave them into new objects. Players will also be able to grapple anywhere, at any point, even if there isn’t an object around.

Strand also seems to have some interesting differences depending on what class you use, just like Stasis. Titans get massive spikes of Strand energy that come out of their hands, Hunters have a pick-ax-like weapon, and Warlocks can fire a big ball of green energy. As more info is unveiled, we will be sure to update this article accordingly.
