The Best Build for Tighnari in Genshin Impact

This Dendro powerhouse is destined to be a fan favorite.

The best part about Genshin Impact updates is the new characters, and the addition of Sumeru to the game has been no different. Players lucky enough to get their hands on Tighnari will find themselves with a powerful Dendro option that can find a home in almost any party. By finding the best build for Tighnari and combining him with powerful Electro characters, players will be able to really take advantage of his damage output.

Tighnari Abilities

Before discussing the best build for Tighnari, we should cover his abilities and what he does in combat. A solid combination for Tighnari when it comes to single target damage is to use his skill, follow up with charged shots, then unleash his burst before switching to an Electro sub-DPS of your choice for follow-up damage.

Elemental Skill – Vijnan-Phala Mine

Tighnari throws a Vijnana Stormheart ahead of him that deals AoE Dendro DMG and creates a Vijnana-Khanda Field, which summons strange illusions to taunt enemies and draw their fire. Additionally, Tighnari gains the Vijnana Suffusion effect, decreasing the Wreath Arrow’s charging time by 2.4s. This effect will dissipate once the skill duration ends or after Tighnari has fired 3 Wreath Arrows.

Elemental Burst – Fashioner’s Tanglevine

Combines the power of all seeds to fire 6 Tanglevine Shafts that can track opponents and deal Dendro DMG. After they hit, the Tanglevine Shafts will create a second wave of Tanglevine Shafts that can also track opponents and deal Dendro DMG on hit.

Best Weapons for Tighnari

The best overall weapon for Tighnari, if money is no object, is easily the Hunter’s Path bow. This 5-Star weapon can only be obtained from Wishes and will provide a 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. Players will also be able to take advantage of the Tireless Hunt effect after hitting an opponent with a Charged Attack. This increases Charged Attack DMG by 160% of Elemental Mastery. This effect will be removed after twelve Charged Attacks or 10 seconds. Only one instance of Tireless Hunt can be gained every 12s.

If the Hunter’s Path eludes you, other options like the Aqua Simularcro, Thundering Pulse, or Polar Star are all great.

For free-to-play players, the Slingshot bow is a fantastic option. Despite only being three stars, it will work very well with Tighnari, thanks to the buff to shots that impact an enemy within 0.3 seconds of being fired. He will also benefit from the additional critical rate provided by the bow.

Best Artifacts for Tighnari

The best Artifact Set for Tighnari will depend on your weapon. The Gilded Dreams set at four pieces can be an excellent option. It will boost Elemental Mastery, perfect if you have the Hunter’s Path, and will also give a bonus to Attack for party members, varying depending on their elemental type. This Artifact Set can be obtained from the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, found at the east of Avidya Forest, north of the tunnel where you enter from The Chasm.

The Wanderer’s Troupe is also a solid set due to the Elemental Mastery buffs or a combination of pieces from each one. The Deepwood Memories set is tempting due to the Dendro damage buffs, but Tighnari will likely benefit more from Elemental Mastery if you have the correct substats on your Artifact pieces, so keep that in mind.

If you are lucky enough to get Tighnari, keep in mind he is the perfect character to explore Sumeru with, and he will have no issue clearing the deadly Withering Zones you will encounter.
