If you took part in last week’s Collision event that ended Fortnite’s Chapter 3 Season 2, you no doubt got a good look at the mysterious Geno that The Foundation had been after this whole time. However, seeing as the Fortnite story is a little messy, we’re here to help straighten it out by explaining who Geno is and what we know about them so far.
Who Is Geno in Fortnite?
Geno is the leader of the Imagined Order, the antagonistic force in the Fortnite Battle Royale story. Seeing as Geno is the leader, it would be safe to call him the main villain of the game. Geno is mostly an unknown, only shown as a shadowy figure thus far.
While the last couple of seasons of Fortnite has had players doing battle with high-ranking members of the Imagined Order, such as Doctor Slone, they haven’t faced off against the leader.
Everything We Know About Geno So Far
Not much is known for sure about Geno. As said, we know for sure that Geno is the leader of the Imagined Order. Geno was first mentioned during the Zero Crisis Finale event that ended Chapter 2 Season 5.
A Resistance quest in Chapter 3 Season 2 had players trying to retrieve personnel files from an old IO Server. Though, before they could be accessed, the files were deleted by Geno.
A brief scene before the end of the Collision event showed The Foundation and Jones in front of the Zero Point portal. The Foundation says “the Zero Point is focused on Geno, this is our best chance to find him” before he and Jones both jump through the portal. The players in the event then close the portal and The Foundation and Jones are later seen gliding through the air, but it is unknown where they are.
It is a safe bet after such a strong finale that we will learn more about who/where Geno is as Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 progresses, as well as where The Foundation and Jones ended up.
