How to Establish Device Uplink in Zero Build
Before getting to the main objective that will award the Secret Sledge, you will have to “Establish a Device Uplink in Zero Build.”
Here are the locations you will need to visit to get this done. We went to the one at the river north of Rocky Reels and it is recommended you follow this path, as is the best location to visit to get this done quick and easy.
At the river bank will be this hologram audio log you’ll need to touch to move on to the next objective.
Where to Plant Timed Explosives in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
Once you have touched the hologram audio log your objective will become “Plant Timed Explosives at an IO Airship, Command Cavern, or the Fortress.”
Here’s the map of those locations, you will need to plant three timed explosives total to finish the quest.
We visited the Rocky Reels airship first and while it shows two spots to plant, we could only find the one at the back of the north end of the airship, one level below where you first enter the airship.
Next up we went to Command Cavern. While you can go to the Tilted Towers airship, the locations of the plant spots is too confined and with the amount of opponents swarming in, it’s not an easy plant.
The first spot will be on your right as you come through the north waterway entrance into the main cavern.
If you head across the water to the big building, you’ll see a vent you can open and crouch through. If you go through this all the way you’ll come out across from a staircase. If you go around to the back of the staircase you’ll find the timed explosives to plant.
