New Elden Ring Patch 1.02.2 Fixes a Handful of Pesky Bugs

FromSoftware has today delivered a new update for Elden Ring which is exclusively focused on fixing serious bugs, including one on PC that caused the graphics card to not be used and resulted in sluggish performance. The update essentially adds on to the previous and more substantial Patch 1.02 that launched last week.

Today’s patch notes come by way of a Tweet that piggyback’s the original patch notes for Patch 1.02, and reads:

A second Tweet highlights a PS5-specific bug fix that presumably better ensures game progress is saved even when the game is not terminated via the settings menu.

Elden Ring’s shaky technical performance has been the subject of criticism since its launch, but it wasn’t enough to deter Twinfinite from scoring the game an exemplary 5/5 and concluding:

“As an open-world skeptic who was pretty much convinced that the Souls formula wouldn’t work in such a setting, I’m happy to have been proven wrong.
