Canadian developer Behaviour Interactive has just pulled back the blood-drenched curtain on a brand new trailer for Dead By Daylight revealing what to expect from their next big Tome VIII – Deliverance update. Indeed, not only is the next Tome primed to launch for both consoles and PC players tomorrow (July 28), but it also teases an extra bunch of lore and backstory for the killer clown, Jeffrey Hawk.
Feel free to check out the new horrifying reveal trailer down below:
For those unaware, Tomes are a part of a game mode entitled The Archives. These newly introduced Tomes essentially add new challenges and lore drops for hardcore Dead By Daylight players. More specifically, new memories and special cinematics can be unlocked once the Master Challenges have been achieved.
Fans of the asymmetric 1v4 multiplayer horror IP have been gifted with a multitude of awesome playable killers, most of which have been plucked straight out of horror’s most prestigious cinematic properties. From The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Leatherface, to Halloween‘s Michael Myers, to A Nightmare On Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger, to even Saw’s very own Pighead, it’s safe to say that the team behind Dead By Daylight have refused to rest on their blood-soaked laurels, delivering new content with regularity to keep their fanbase happy.
For more information, here’s the rundown for the new content direct from Behaviour Interactive:
