Getting Condor Coins in FF7 Remake Episode Intermission

Fort Condor is a new mini-game introduced in Episode Intermission, and is based off the tower defense section from the original release.

If the rules seem a little too overwhelming at first, we’ve got a quick breakdown of how it works here. Basically, each time you beat an NPC in a game of Fort Condor, you’ll get rewards that include new boards, new units, and one Condor Coin. The more NPCs you beat, the more Condor Coins you’ll accumulate.

You can find more NPCs to challenge by looking out for the purple icon on your compass at the top of the screen.

How to Use Condor Coins

Condor Coins are pretty similar to the Moogle Medals from the base game in that they can only be used with certain vendors. With these coins, you can spend them by talking to the Happy Turtle NPC located in the Sector 7 slums.

The vendor sells some basic items such as potions, but he also sells special units you can use in your future Fort Condor games and those are definitely worth getting especially as you climb up the ranks, and your opponents get more cunning.
