Grand Theft Auto V Has Shipped Over 145 Million Units; Red Dead Redemption 2 at Over 37 Million

Today Take-Two Interactive Software announced new sales figures for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V during its quarterly financial conference call.

We learn that Grand Theft Auto V is now at over 145 million units shipped worldwide. Red Dead Redemption 2 is at over 37 million shipments.

Recurrent concurrent spending in Grand Theft Auto Online recorded the second-highest quarter ever between January and March. Red Dead Online also did above expectations

The previous update three months ago had Red Dead Redemption 2 at over 36 million units shipped and Grand Theft Auto V at over 140 million.

Speaking of numbers, we also heard that Sid Meier’s Civilization VI has sold over 11 million units. According to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, developer Firaxis Games has “several exciting projects in development that will be released this year.”

Earlier today, we learned that Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on Nov. 11 with a slew of new features. The game is currently available for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
