Xbox Live Gold No Longer Required for Free-to-Play Multiplayer Games

Microsoft has been looking to update the Xbox Live Gold requirements for users to play online multiplayer in free-to-play games. They previously stated that Gold memberships would no longer be needed to play online with friends in these games, and today, they followed through.

All of the details have been provided through an Xbox Wire news post. This new update will work for over 50 games that are currently available on Xbox consoles.
