First of all, we get to see a new trailer that recaps previous games and provides a new look at the new one.

We see the return of Shinobu Jacobs and Bad Girl, on top of a presentation by Sylvia Christel.

We also get the announcement of the No More Heroes Killion Dollar Trilogy, which will release on Aug 27 alongside the new game, including the first two games in a special box that will be priced at 9,800 yen in Japan.

You can check it out below.

We also get to see some slides introducing ranking battles and the Galactic Superhero Corps that will provide a number of enemies for Travis to take down.

Fu, Mr. Black Hole, and Gold Joe get their own videos, alongside our heroes Travis Touchdown, Sylvia Christel, Shinobu Jacobs, Bad Girl, and the cat Jeane (who is involved in a cute minigame). We also take a look at images of Santa Destroy.

Next are the Volunteer Mission minigames and the slash action gameplay, which includes the usual beam katana with its peculiar charging action, pro-wrestling moves, and the Death Glove skills. We can also eat sushi and play with the Slash Reel. Of course, Travis can transform into his full-armor form.

A guest creator was then introduced: we learn that Popular mangaka Asano designed the character “Newtype Kamui”

You can see all the videos and relevant images below.

No More Heroes 3 will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on Aug. 27. If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy the previous trailer. You can also read an official description below.

“The legendary assassin Travis Touchdown makes his glorious return to the Madness!

Our hero, Travis Touchdown, must make it to the top of the Galactic Superhero Rankings in order to stop the evil Prince FU and his ten alien assassins from taking over the Earth.

Earn money to enter ranked battles!

To enter into each subsequent ranked battle, you’ll need to pay a pretty steep fee. Travis must take on various missions around town to make the money he needs to fight. An invitation to the next fight will be sent once the required fees have been transferred via ATM.

Use your skills to dominate opponents!

Enjoy even more hardcore slash-‘em-up action than ever before as you use the Joy-Con’s intuitive controls to wield Travis Touchdown’s trusty Beam Katana along with a slew of pro wrestling techniques!

Also, featured for the first time in the series, Travis can now use his Death Glove to activate a variety of skills, allowing for more strategic battles. Furthermore, you can now customize the new Skill Tree and try out different Death Glove Chip combinations to find the play style that works best for you.

It’s the Galaxy vs. the Hood in a full-on war by proxy.”
