The news comes by way of a Tweet from the developer’s official channel:

It Takes Two tells the story of May and Cody’s relationship after the two were magically turned into dolls by their daughter, Rose. To return to normal, they have to work together to mend their relationship while overcoming more than a few platforming obstacles.

Twinfinite reviewed It Takes Two back in March and was thoroughly impressed, scoring the game 4/5 and concluding:

“The game’s refreshing gameplay loop and heavy focus on cooperation and timing results in some of the most satisfying puzzling, platforming, and combat I’ve seen in a very long time.

Even if you aren’t big into co-op, or aren’t even that much of a gamer, you should still give this one a shot, as it is the perfect game for couples or even friends to enjoy together.”
