You can check out the debut trailer down below:

The trailer starts off with an Inkling girl in a vast desert as she hops onto a bus and gets whisked off to a brand new industrial-looking hub world. And yep, it’s definitely the same Splatoon you know and love.

We also get a glimpse of a couple of new weapons, such as a new bow that will surely add new depth to the competitive PvP gameplay. Aside from that, however, it looks like this will be a direct continuation of the beloved Splatoon series, where two teams will attempt to splat each other with ink while completing various game objectives.

Splatoon 3 is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch in 2022, so it’s still pretty far off. We’ll keep you updated as more info for the game drops throughout the year.
