The new details have been provided via the game’s brand new Twitter account (sources 1, 2, 3).

We get the confirmation that the game isn’t a PS4 exclusive anymore, but will instead be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

For now the release window is still simply 2021.

On top of this, we get to see the key artwork and new screenshots showcasing familiar characters that fans of the anime will recognize.

We also learn that on top of the solo story mode that lets you relive the story of the anime controlling Tanjiro, the game includes an online versus mode that lets you pitch two characters from the series against each other in a battle action mode.

The controls aim to be simple and reproduce the anime’s exhilarating action.

You can check out the images below.

The Demon Slayer game Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppu Tan is currently being developed by CyberConnect2. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the previous batch of screenshots.
