Nintendo Announces a Monster Hunter Rise Themed Switch for Japan

Monster Hunter is pretty huge in Japan, and with the brand new Monster Hunter Rise set to release in March, it’s no surprise that Nintendo would announce a themed Switch system to coincide with its release. Right now, the system seems to be Japan exclusive, though that might very well change in the near future. And if push comes to shove, you could always import it if you really want it.

For the most part, it looks pretty simple. The dock and Joy-Cons feature the game logo and retain the default gray color. The system itself is set to be released on March 26 and will retail for 38,400 yen, which is about $370 USD, give or take.

Monster Hunter Rise is set to be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on March 26 as well.
