During a liverstreamed Q&A, which you can see fully recorded below, Hiroki-san talked about several aspects of development like choosing characters and balance.

She also revealed that the team wanted to implement transformations and flying into the game, but ultimately it wasn’t possible.

Hiroki-san also talked about the national championship format and mentioned that a new online event is already being planned.

Last, but certainly, not least we learn that the next new character for season pass 3 will be announced during the Japanese playoffs on Dec. 20. The release will be in January.

Master Roshi is the third and latest character released season 3, which started with Kefla, continued with Ultra Instinct Goku, and will have two more fighters who have not been revealed just yet. We don’t know when the fifth will be showcased.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.  It sold over five million copies as of May 2020.
