While Yakuza Like a Dragon may be host to a vibrant and impressive game world, you wouldn’t be blamed for wanting to cut down your travel time now and again. Fortunately, the game does offer a fast travel mechanic that’s fairly easy to use, so long as you know how to carry out a few steps first. How to Fast Travel and Find Fast Travel Points in Yakuza Like a Dragon
As with past games in the series, fast traveling in Yakuza Like a Dragon is done by using your phone or by interacting with the taxis scattered around the city.
For the first option, all you need to do is press the Options button on the PlayStation console controllers or the Menu Button on Xbox console controllers. Then, scroll down to the Smartphone option and select it with the X or A Button.
This will open up the Smartphone menu, from which you can select the Taxi icon to quickly travel to certain points in the city for a small amount of Yen. Select the icon, and then select the point you wish to go to. Within a few seconds, you’ll be at your desired destination.
The second option, meanwhile, is even simpler. Should you pass a taxi on the road, you can interact with it by pressing the X or A button. Doing so will bring up the map, and then it’s the same song and dance as listed above.
How to Activate Taxi Fast Travel Points
It’s worth noting, however, that not every fast travel point in Yakuza Like a Dragon will be available to you right off the bat.
When you start the game, you’ll only have a couple of points unlocked. To activate and use the rest, you’ll need to travel throughout the map on foot and look for Taxis on the street. Once you find one, interact with it by pressing the X or A button. Then, back out of the menu it opens.
Doing so will register the point as discovered, and you’ll then be able to select it from the fast travel menu.
