Western fans never got to experience the original Fire Emblem officially localized in English, but this is about to change.
Nintendo just announced that it will release the 1990 Famicom classic Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light translated into English for Nintendo Switch on Dec. 4, 2020.
It will even include new features like save states and rewind and it’ll be priced at $5.99.
A physical 30th Anniversary Edition will also be made available on the same day including a download code, a replica box and case, an artbook, a collectible mini-issue of Nintendo Power, and more.
The catch is that will be available for a limited time, for… some reason that we don’t know. But there has to be one, right? Right?
