Dirt 5 Will Release on PS5 At Launch With Free Upgrade From PS4; 4K & 120 FPS Options Supported

Codemasters has been pretty cagey on the release date of the PS5 version of its upcoming racing game Dirt 5, until now.

According to an announcement made on Twitter, the game will launch on PS5 on day one, November 12.

Options for 4K resolution and 120 frames-per-second will be available alongside faster load times. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller will also be supported.

On top of that, an upgrade from the PS4 version will be made available for free.

Dirt 5 will also release on Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Stadia, with the old platforms getting it on November 6 and the Xbox Series ones on November 10 as a launch title.
