A Fox Tale’s official synopsis can be found below:

A Fox Tale is a beautiful pixel art platforming adventure. As our four legged protagonist Eva, you are forced to take an unexpected journey. Explore and enjoy a world of wonder and horror, as you pass through your ever changing surroundings. However, the very nature of foxes means Eva is always cautious and this fox in particular has every reason to be…

Her past is something she had hoped to be far behind her. Now, with your help, she is forced to revisit the darkest corners of her life so far. Race across challenging landscapes, sneak your way out of perilous situations, and make a few friends along the way. Remember – Your enemy is smart, but your feet are quick. Use them.

With a combination of tight game mechanics, breathtaking visuals and thoughtful story telling throughout. You must help Eva, this will not be an easy task. The decisions you make will ultimately decide your own fate, and that of others.

Not everything is as it seems. Dealing with the loss of a loved one, Eva begins having otherworldly dreams. You must trust your instincts.

Learn to use the mechanics of the environment to your advantage, as you sprint, jump, dash and climb your way through Eva’s Journey. Use your abilities to evade capture, solve puzzles and soar across near impossible landscapes. Take advantage of the thought provoking dialogue when you need to make some tough decisions that will impact the world around you.

While A Fox Tale doesn’t have an official release date yet, Peet stated the goal is to release it first on Steam (PC, Mac and Linux), with plan to get it onto, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 down the line.
