Overcooked! All You Can Eat Will Have New Assist Mode and Accessibility Options

Overcooked! All You Can Eat, coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later this year, will contain new accessibility features and an assist mode, publisher Team 17 announced.

The new “Assist Mode” offers a series of features that allows players to ease the normally stressful experience of cooking and serving in this cooperative multiplayer game.

The Assist Mode features include an increased round timer, an increased score received, and increased time to create a recipe. There will also be a toggle for recipe timeouts, which would players would not be able to fail orders if turned on.

The publisher detailed new accessibility options for players to take advantage of if they choose such as players being indicated by both colors and shapes.

The UI text can be made larger or smaller and includes subtitles, menu descriptions, legend text, and text management menu. There is also an option for dyslexia-friendly text on all dialogue boxes.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat will contain both Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 levels and their downloadable content alongside new levels, chefs, and cross-play online multiplayer. The game will also run at 60 frames per second in 4K resolution on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
