The expensive consoles announced last July are being made by Truly Exquisite, “UK’s Premier Luxury Customizing Brand,” that has customized other technology hardware with exorbitant finishes such as iPhones, iPads, and the Samsung Galaxy S20.

The company is selling both the disc drive-less, PlayStation 5: Digital Edition and the regular PS5 in 24 karat gold, 18 karat rose gold, and in a platinum finish with the following prices:

  • 24K Gold Digital PS5 – £7,999
  • 18K Rose Gold Digital PS5 – £8,099
  • Platinum Digital PS5 – £8,199
  • 24K Gold Disc PS5 – £8,099
  • 18K Rose Gold Disc PS5 – £8,199
  • Platinum Disc PS5 – £8,299

Each package contains one PlayStation 5, two Dualsense Controllers, and one 3D Pulse Headset “presented in a Luxury wooden display box with free worldwide shipping & insurance.” The controllers and headset can also be pre-ordered individually at £649 and £399 respectively.

The collection is limited edition with only 250 pieces made in each model and finish. While Sony has not announced a pre-order date or release date for its upcoming console, those with the money can pre-order any of these golden consoles and accessories starting on Thursday, Sept. 10.
