You can view the new trailer below, which rocks a very synth-heavy soundtrack and fast-paced gameplay.

The trailer above is quick and flashy, but luckily the official description for the game gives us a clearer picture.

“Aeon Must Die!” turns the beat-em-up genre on its head introducing breakneck risk-reward gameplay, innovative tactical fighting favoring brains over reflexes, and an RPG alignment system that tracks how you behave as a warrior and changes the challenge and story accordingly.”

You’ll play as both the hero and villain fighting for control of the same body, which will come into play when making dialogue choices throughout the story.

Players will still need to wait a bit before playing Aeon Must Die, which will release in 2021 for PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
