PlayStation Store Free Games for Week of June 2 (DLC, Themes & More)

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Every Tuesday, when the PlayStation Store updates, there is a selection of newly added free items for the PS4 that often go overlooked. To get the best bang for your buck (AKA free stuff on PSN), let’s sift the free games, DLC, and themes out from the paid, shall we?

Free PSN Games

Welcome to June, everyone! The new month on the PlayStation Store of course comes new PlayStation Plus games. While one of them, Call of Duty: WWII, you have been able to enjoy for a week, the second game is only just now available. Star Wars Battlefront II (lots of II’s, it seems) is the second game, so you have a month of FPS ahead of you.

On top of these two PS+ games, there is an unrelated free game on the store called Racing Bros. It’s been available on the UK PlayStation Store since February 2020, and the states are only just now getting it. Gather three friends and race.

Free PSN DLC

If you’re a fan of Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate, this is the week you’ll love, with three separate free [joke] weapons on the PlayStation Store. There’s also the expected PES 2019 content, and some free songs for a VR game.

Free PSN Themes

There is actually something on the PlayStation Store to justify this part of the headline this week, after what is a certainly acknowledged dry spell. If you love the atmosphere of the Final Fantasy VII REMAKE, this dynamic theme is made for you.

That’s it for this week, everybody, we hope your June is off to a good start.

For any previous weeks’ offerings of free, look no further:
