Fortnite Astronomical Event to Debut a Travis Scott Single

Epic Games has announced the next big Fortnite collaboration with a musical artist and this time it’s rapper Travis Scott. Called Astronomical, the “one of a kind musical journey” is to feature a world premiere of his brand new track.

The design of Astronomical’s “otherworldly experience” is inspired by Cactus Jack’s creations, which is said to have been built from the ground up in Fortnite.

The event won’t run globally at the same time, so don’t worry about having to tune in at an awkward time. Instead, there’s a string of “tour dates” showing at different times across the globe. You’ll just need to make sure you get in early to secure a spot, with servers opening 30 minutes prior to the gig kicking off.

The times are as follows:

  • Friday, April 24, 2020 AT 12:00:00 AM GMT+1
  • Friday, April 24, 2020 AT 3:00:00 PM GMT+1
  • Saturday, April 25, 2020 AT 5:00:00 AM GMT+1
  • Saturday, April 25, 2020 AT 4:00:00 PM GMT+1
  • Saturday, April 25, 2020 AT 11:00:00 PM GMT+1

Further to the announcement of the event itself, Epic also confirmed that Travis Scott is the latest addition to the Icon Series. You can get his outfits, emotes, and other insignia from April 21. Attending any of the Astronomical events also nets you the Astroworld Cyclone Glider, as well as a couple of free themed loading screens. Both are pictured below.

In related recent Fortnite news, completing Deadpool’s Week 9 challenges will award you his grey and black X-Force costume/skin.
