Getting a 5-Star Rating

Formerly known as a Jacob’s Ladder for Animal Crossing veterans, the Lily of the Valley can only be attained once your island has a perfect 5-star rating.

This is completed through some pretty in-depth decorating. Using lots of flowers and trees of different varieties will help in this, as well as utilizing tons of furniture, regardless of the theme you are going for. From an overgrown camping island to a heavily-built city, using all the furniture you will get you to the promised land faster.

If you’re having trouble crossing the finish line, keeping in touch with Isabelle will help you greatly as she will offer some advice each time she gives an evaluation to let you know what is missing and how to get that illustrious 5-star rating.

Once you have attained that goal, you simply need to let the island do the rest of the work. There is nothing more than can be done to try to get a Lily of the Valley.

After some time, one will randomly spawn somewhere on your island, representing the hard work you have put in to get the 5-star rating. They will continue to spawn in this way as long as you maintain that score, with several days sometimes coming between each flower bud.

Lilies of the Valley can be moved with a shovel, but otherwise cannot be picked as normal flowers can.
