Where to Buy Them

In order to purchase lilies from Nook’s Cranny, they will have to be a flower that is native to your island. However, there are other places you’ll be able to buy them if they aren’t native to your island.

Leif is a character who will sell flowers from all over. He can be found in the plaza outside of the Resident Services building. His stock will rotate on a daily basis.

You’ll also be able to purchase lilies on other player’s islands. If they have them native to their island you’ll be able to purchase them from their Nook’s Cranny shop.

Just go into the cabinet in the store to find the seeds in stock.

Finding Lilies

Purchasing lilies isn’t the only way to find them in the game. If you have friends playing Animal Crossing, they can trade you some lilies. They can either mail you the seeds or they can visit your island and drop some off.

If you purchase Nook Miles Tickets from the Resident Services building you’ll be able to visit mystery islands. These islands have all sorts of flowers on them and are another way to find lilies.

You can uproot these with your shovel to bring them back to your island to plant.

How to Breed for Hybrids

Breeding lilies are the only way to obtain certain colors. Here’s a list of the possible colors you can get if you plant lilies next to each other and water them with a watering can. Do note the difference between “seed” and “hybrid.” Seed simply means that the plants must have been grown from seeds bought from stores and NPCs, while hybrids are reproduced flowers.

  • Orange: Seed Red + Seed Yellow
  • Black: Seed Red + Seed Red
  • Pink: Seed Red + Seed Red or Seed Red + Seed White

In addition to that, we’ve also included a graphic down below to indicate the best way to plant your Lilies if you’re looking to get the hybrids efficiently. Credit to BackwardsN and peach-n-key.
