Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, the ARPG Diablo-like from French developer Wolcen Studios, has reached over one million units sold since its launch on Feb. 13. The news comes by way of a press release today, which revealed some other interesting statistics in addition to the impressive sales tally.
Specifically, we learn that over one million characters have been created and 12.874.233 monsters were killed. Furthermore, players spent 17.406.590 hours playing Wolcen and looted 115.347.589.950 gold (after removing a gold exploit).
Moving forward, the developer also announced that the first four months after release will be dedicated to bug-fixing and polishing. After that phase, the studio will focus on developing new content. Wolcen’s story will then be continued with a fourth act.
Similar to Blizzard’s iconic Diablo franchise from which it takes inspiration, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem boasts fast-paced combat and many different characters classes. These different classes can be mixed and matched to create unique builds as players explore dungeons in search of loot and charge through its story campaign.
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem launched in full last month, Feb. 13. It is a PC-only title available over on Steam and Humble Bundle for $29.99.
