Destiny 2 Hellas Basin Mars Farming Location Explained

We all know the major planets and locations in Destiny 2 by now: Mars, Mercury, Earth, Io, etc. What you may or may not realize though is that each location has its own name. After all, it’s not like you’re exploring all of Mars or all of Earth obviously. You’re just at a specific location.

For Mars, the entirety of the space that you’re able to explore is known as the Hellas Basin in Destiny 2. This is different from where you were on Mars in the original game.

In other words, for the Rasputin quest in Season of the Worthy given to you by Ana, when they said get Orbs in Hellas Basin, for example, you can do that anywhere on Mars that you want.

As for the best place to farm in Destiny 2’s Hellas Basin, that answer is easy: Escalation Protocol. EP is a great way to farm Orbs or whatever else you need in Destiny 2 as long as you’re clear to do so on Mars.

There non-stop thrall and orange bar enemies for you to farm and kill and usually plenty of other people to help create orbs. Just make sure to use a masterworked weapon to help produce even more orbs for yourself and others.

That’s all you need to know about Destiny 2’s Hellas Basin on Mars, and where to farm. For more tips, tricks, and FAQs answered for Season of the Worthy, make sure to search Twinfinite.
