Currently, Call of Duty Warzone does not offer splitscreen multiplayer. If you try to add a second controller while inside the Warzone tab, you will receive a message prompt telling you that this mode does not support splitscreen.
This, of course, does not mean it couldn’t be added in the future. It wasn’t until just this year that Fortnite introduced splitscreen multiplayer for their battle royale so Call of Duty could follow suit down the line.
If you want to play with your friends you’ll have to play online, unfortunately. Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s competitive multiplayer does support splitscreen if you want to play that together.
It certainly makes sense down the road to add splitscreen considering there is currently no solo play in Warzone. The more opportunities for players to team up together would be great for the longevity of the game.
For now, though, you’re just going to have to pass the controller back and forth between matches, which could make for some fun moments.
