Modern Warfare Watches: How to Get, Equip & Look at Watch

There are plenty of ways to customize your operator, but one particular item of apparel will require a bit of special legwork to unlock. As you may have noticed, the watch option is greyed out and not available. Here’s how to get a watch in Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

How to Get a Watch in Call of Duty Modern Warfare

Before you can equip and look at your watch, you’ll first need to unlock them. In Season 1, the only ways you could get one was to spend money either on the Call of Duty Endowment Defender Pack, or by buying the Battle Pass.

You can also pick up codes from food brands such as Totino’s in the US that’ll unlock you a Watch.

The Call of Duty Endowment Defender Pack

The watch is available to purchase as part of the Call of Duty Endowment Defender Pack via the in-game store for $9.99. Once you’ve bought it, you’ll be able to choose from 11 different style options.

While it’s not exactly cheap for a cosmetic, at least all the money is being used in support of The Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organization that helps US veterans find work beyond military life.

Buy the Modern Warfare Battle Pass

By picking up the Battle Pass each season, you’ll unlock a Watch along the way. The Battle Pass is filled with a ton of different cosmetic items.

You will need to level it up to unlock it all by performing well in games and completing challenges, though, so make sure you’re up to the task.

Totino’s Pizza Rolls Modern Warfare Promotion

Your second option is to take part in the Totino’s Pizza Rolls Modern Warfare promotion.

The snack brand is currently running a promotion in collaboration with Call of Duty whereby customers can redeem unique codes for in-game rewards.

Inside each pack, you’ll get one of three codes that unlocks either an animated calling card, a watch, or a charm.

Equipping a Watch in Modern Warfare

To equip your Watch, simply go to ‘Weapons’ from the multiplayer menu. You’ll find an option within the menus here where you can select the Watch you want to equip to your Operator.

How to Look at Your Watch in Modern Warfare

With your timepiece safely strapped to your wrist, you’re finally ready to make good use of it. The best way to look at your watch in Modern Warfare is to use the Check Watch gesture.

Check Watch Gesture in Modern Warfare

As soon as you unlock a Watch, you’ll immediately have this gesture within the Sprays and Gestures menu ready for you to equip. When you now select this in-game, your character will move their arm up towards their face, bringing the watch closer into view.

You don’t have to use this to look at your watch in Modern Warfare. It’s visible when you’re running around the map, but using the Check Watch gesture is definitely better.

The Watch also tells the real-life time thanks to your console or PC’s clock, so it’s not just some useless cosmetic. It has some use… if you just don’t want to look at your phone in the heat of battle.

That’s everything there is to know about how to get and look at your watch in Call of Duty Modern Warfare. If we discover any other ways to unlock watches in the game then we’ll update this guide.
