This mod offers a total overhaul of the snowflakes seen in The Sims 4.
Before they were a bit blurry and didn’t really match the art style of the rest of the Sims 4 world. Now they are more clearly defined, and actually look like realistic snowflakes.
The creator of the mod Simaginarium has tested it, and states the new snowflakes do not affect performance of the game at all. So no worries about the mod causing you any latency issues with the new HD models.
You can see the snowflake in motion here. You can see they definitely look better than the base game snowflakes at first glance.
Sim Consultant
New Sims 4 Mods February 2020
If you sim has a few too many negative buffs and you want them to cheer up quickly, this mod allows you to call a sim consultant to perk them up.
The consultant will show up, and for a §500 fee host a therapy session for your sim. It will increase a sim’s social need and get rid of all negative buffs that they have.
You can access the consultant by simply clicking on the sim, and selecting “Call Social Consultant”.
This will be great for those who want to quickly fill the promotion meter at work, and can now get rid of some negative buffs before the sim goes off to their job.
Nursing Homes
New Sims 4 Mods February 2020
This new mod from popular creator KawaiiStacie adds a new rabbit hole career and social event for elder sims, essentially putting nursing homes in The Sims 4.
The career will allow you to choose how often an elder sim stays within the nursing home, whether they are a nightly, weekday, or weekend resident.
Elders within the career path will get custom moodlets, meet new people, and maintain their current relationships while away autonomously.
The nursing home event will allow you to attend the nursing home as a visitor, resident, or both. The event will last for three days, and it spawns other elders as well as staff members to cook and clean for the elderly sims. It can also be cancelled at any time during the three days.
This mod should be a fun new way to play with elderly sims, instead of having them just lounge around the lot after retirement.
Traits
New Sims 4 Mods February 2020
We only saw a few trait mods out this month, but they are all extremely detailed. For example, the claustrophobic trait will make your sims uncomfortable on tiny lots. This is sure to be a fun challenge to those who have picked up the new Tiny Living Stuff Pack.
These smaller mods seek to add helpful fixes to the main game that have yet to be addressed by EA, and also tweak a few gameplay features to make the game more enjoyable.
Dress your sims and alter their appearance with a few new clothing and CAS mods, including one that lets you add a Princess Bubblegum model from Adventure Time to any sim.
Following the January release of the new Tiny Living Stuff Pack for The Sims 4, we are seeing a lot of building mods that are focused on space-saving items.
Some of the best ones include a toilet that also has a sink built in, and some under the counter appliances like mini-fridges and ovens.
