This article is a bit perplexing to me. After all, who wants to attract ants, right? They ruin picnics, and there’s just always so many. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, though, catching and attracting bugs is kind of the point. So in this short guide we’re going to go over how to get ants in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
How to Get Ants in Animal Crossing New Horizons
What’s great about Animal Crossing New Horizons is that the way to get ants in-game really isn’t all that different than how you attract them in real life.
Ants love our food; they have a whole colony to feed. They aren’t picky though and will eat pretty much anything we leave out whether it’s still good or not if they can get their grubby mandibles on them.
Say for example, you have a delicious Turnip (or fruit) that you leave out. If you leave that Turnip sitting around for a while it will eventually rot, and after it rots Ants will eventually show up.
Once the Ants show up you can catch them and add them to your gross collection of gross bugs. Sorry, New Horizons fans I know you love catching bugs, but it’s just not my thing, okay?
