Animal Crossing New Horizons: All Hairstyles in the Game

The Animal Crossing has always been a life sim series, but it’s never really given players a ton of customization options for their character. Sure we had some clothing and headgear in the past, but the general appearance of our villager was largely set in stone. Fortunately, you’ll be able to change hairstyles in Animal Crossing: New Horizons once again. Here are all hairstyles in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Down below, we’ve included images of each hairstyle you can get at the start of the game. There are eight to choose from, which are the same for both genders.

Getting More Hairstyles

When you first receive the mirror during the early stages of New Horizons, you’ll unlock a number of new hairstyles when you choose to look into it. These are available for free, and we’ll have screenshots of them all above.

You can unlock more hairstyles in New Horizons by redeeming your Nook Miles at the terminal in the Resident Services building.

There are three different hairstyle customization options which can be purchased with Nook Miles. We’ve listed these, alongside their prices below:

  • Top 8 Pop Hairstyles – 2,400 Miles
  • Top 8 Cool Hairstyles – 2,400 Miles
  • Top 8 Stylish Hair Colors – 3,000 Miles

We’ll have screenshots of all of these additional hairstyles added into our gallery above as soon as we can get them.

How to Change Hairstyle in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

At the very beginning of the game while you’re still on your way to Tom Nook’s island getaway, you’ll choose the look of your character. You’ll have a wide variety to choose from, but you won’t be able to change it again for a while, so be sure to keep this in mind.

To change hairstyle from your original look, you’ll want to look in your mirror or vanity in your house. This can be done at any time, and enables you to change your character’s gender, appearance, and hairstyle easily.
