Headliners is over, Future Stars began last week, and we’re into the fifth season in FIFA 20. Following Odegaard on Friday, a second Objectives player is there to be unlocked. Again, having a card that you can upgrade is cool, if not a lot more work for the card than it would usually be. James has had his skill-moves upgraded to 4-star, the pace on his final card is perfect, and his technical stats are great elsewhere.
It wouldn’t be an incredible card usually, but since all of the objectives can be done via Squad Battles, it’s very good value for time. James fits the meta perfectly, with high agility and balance on top of everything else I’ve mentioned.

- Made in Wales – 200 XP & One Rare Player Pack – Score 2 goals using 75 OVR James.
- A Red Devil in the Making – 200 XP & One Rare Player Pack – Assist 2 goals using 75 OVR Future Stars James.
- A Promising Star – 200 XP & 80 OVR James – Score using 75 OVR James in 3 separate matches.
- First Timer – 200 XP & One Rare Player Pack – Score a volley using 80 OVR James in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty.
- They Call Him Fishy – 200 XP & One Rare Player Pack – Score a chip shot using 80 OVR James in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty.
- Climbing the Ranks – 200 XP & 82 OVR Future Stars James – Score a low driven shot using 80 OVR James in 4 separate Squad Battles matches on min. Professional difficulty.
- Classic Crosser – 200 XP & One Rare Gold Player Pack – Assist 5 goals with a cross using 82 OVR James in Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty.
- Dominant Dragon – 200 XP & One Rare Gold Player Pack – Score 2 goals using 82 OVR James in 2 separate Squad Battles wins on min. Legendary difficulty.
- Wonderful Winger – 200 XP & One Rare Gold Player Pack – Score and assist using 82 OVR James in 8 separate Squad Battles wins on min. World Class difficulty.
- Consistent Performer – 200 XP & One Rare Player Pack – Play 15 games with James in your starting line up.
As I said, as long as you don’t find Squad Battles too hard on the higher difficulties, James is easy to get. None of them are hard, you just need to play the bad teams from each set of four when you play on Legendary or World Class.
