The console appears to be authentic, and very, very dusty, showing the back with its ports.

We see one HDMI port, one ethernet port, two USB ports (plus one in the front), a S/PDIF optical audio port, and an unlabeled port that is possibly related to the console’s function as a development kit.

Of course, being a prototype and assuming that this is real, the position and number of the ports may change in the final retail version of the hardware.

If you’re wondering, the hole marked “K” isn’t a port, but a Kensington Security Slot used to attach a cord to prevent theft.

As a side note, we blurred the bar code in the back of the console for obvious reasons.

The Xbox Series X was officially revealed last month at The Game Awards, and will launch in the Holiday season this year.

A precise release date has not been shared just yet.
