The new artwork portrays what appears to be some kind of enormous space struture, on top of a small floating robot (sources 1, 2).

According to Yasuda-san, the robot is the heroine’s partner robot and its name is “Yodaka.” He also encourages fans to wait for a bit for the official reveal of this AI companion.

You can enjoy the images below.

On top of the images, Yasuda-san mentions that in 2020, as a director, he’d like to focus on Project Stella and the mobile game Hoshimusu Allstars. On top of that “if the environment is ready” he’d like to announce a new game.

At the moment, we don’t know if the new game mentioned by Yasuda-san is the PS5 title the studio has been in negotiation for. We’ll try to quiz him on this at the first possible chance, and let you know what we can dig up.

Incidentally, a trailer of Project Stella was showcased by Kadokawa Games at an event in Tokyo in october, but never published online. We’re still waiting for that one. In the meanwhile, we saw a small video glimpse a few days ago.

If you want to read more about Project Stella, you can read our latest interview Yasuda-san himself and the previous round of questions and answers.

Project Stella is a strategy simulation JRPG based on the tried and true combination of cute girls and mecha, and we know it’s coming for consoles, but it doesn’t have specific platforms announced or a release window.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
