Kakarot, the long-awaited new game based on the Dragon Ball Z anime series, is out now. The game sees you head out into a semi-open world to take on quests and meet new characters. So that you can get the benefits that they offer, here’s everything you need to know about how to easily get all Dragon Balls fast in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.
Collecting the Dragon Balls allows you to make a wish, which will help you do other things in the game. You will summon Shenron to do so, and the wishes you can make are:
- Get a selection of rare items
- Bring a character who died during the story back to life
- Get some Z Orbs
- Get some money
- Re-fight past bosses
How to Get All Dragon Balls Fast in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
Once you have completed the Frieza Saga, you’ll unlock the ability to use the Dragon Radar. With it, you’ll be able to see where all of the Dragon Balls are on the world map by looking for a Dragon Ball Icon on the edge of each key area.
To get them, you then need to travel to each area, and then check the area map to look for the Dragon Ball icon on that map. Travel to where it is and then pick it up, with there being seven in all to find.
After collecting all of them, you can ask Shenron for a wish. To do that, open up the menu by pressing the Options button if you’re on PS4 (menu button if you’re on Xbox One) and cycle down to the Dragon Balls option.
From there, you’ll be given a series of different wishes and you can request the wish you want, and then select the Summon Shenron option at the bottom of the screen.
You’ll then be able to repeat the process, heading out into the world to find all the Dragon Balls again. However, they’ll only reappear after 20 minutes of real-time, so you’ll have to wait a little while first.

- Complete the Frieza Saga to unlock the Dragon Radar ability.
- Check the map to find out where they are, then head there to get them.
