GTA V: How to Buy an Arcade & Get One For Free (GTA Online)

Earlier this year, Rockstar Games unveiled the Diamond Casino and Resort for GTA Online. It featured a prize wheel, a bunch of new missions, a fancy penthouse apartment for players to buy and much more. Now, Rockstar Games is giving players a Diamond Casino Heist they can take on, but before they’re able to start setting up, they need a front. For this heist, you’re going to claim an arcade, but many players are struggling to figure out how to actually get one. Here’s how to buy an arcade in GTA Online, as well as how to get one for free.

Getting an Arcade in GTA V

Before you can start planning your heist on the Diamond Casino in GTA V, you’ll need to buy an arcade. This is where you’ll then be going to set up your preparatory missions, as well as bolster your skills you’ll need when pulling off the heist.

Unfortunately, unless you’re a Twitch Prime subscriber (more on you lot later), you’ll need to cough up the cash for an arcade. To do this, first speak to Lester at Mirror Park. After a brief cutscene, you’ll then be able to start shopping around for a casino.

This is done by opening up your phone, going to EyeFind, and Maze Bank Foreclosures. Now you can filter down the results to just Arcades.

GTA Online Arcade Prices

There are six arcades players can buy in GTA Online for the Diamond Casino heist. These are as follows:

  • Pixel Pete’s – Paleto Bay – $1,235,000
  • Wonderama – Grapeseed – $1,565,000
  • Videogeddon – La Mesa – $1,875,000
  • Insert Coin – Rockford Hills – $2,345,000
  • Warehouse – Davis – $2,135,000
  • Eight-Bit – Vinewood – $2,530,000

The prices listed here are for the base layout of each one. If you want to upgrade them with more things inside etc., you’ll need to cough up even more cash.

Simply select the arcade you want to buy on EyeFinder and you’ll be able to make it yours. Now all you need to do to start the Diamond Casino Heist in GTA Online is head over to your new casino. A quick cutscene will play. Now use the laptop in here to get your arcade actually filled with games and looking like a real business.

After that’s taken care of, you’ll then be free to take on any preparatory missions for the heist by walking over to the drawing board.

How to Get Free Arcade in GTA Online

As we mentioned before, there is actually a way to get a free arcade in GTA Online if you’re a Twitch Prime subscriber. All you need to do is log-in, follow the steps to link your Twitch Prime account to your Rockstar Social Club account, and claim your free GTA Online properties.

This then may take up to 48 hours to register in-game, but after that, you’ll then be able to open up Maze Bank Foreclosures via EyeFinder again and select Pixel Pete’s Arcade for free.

When to Upgrade

Just because you’ve got a base shell of an arcade business when you first purchase the property, doesn’t mean you should just leave it as is. Sure, it’s enough to open up the Diamond Casino heist mission to you, but there are a multitude of new arcade games that can net you even more money from your investment.

There are also two upgrades that are particularly useful. One allows you to fly drones over Los Santos, while the other allows you to start missions from any of your other businesses from the arcade. The full list of arcade games and upgrades is below:
