With Planet Zoo you’re going to want to have direct control over everything. This includes getting up close and personal with your surroundings and experimenting with different angles. Here’s how to use the camera in Planet Zoo to enhance your experience and ease your gameplay.
How to Use the Camera in Planet Zoo
How to Move the Camera
Firstly, you’re going to want to know how to move the camera. This is done by simply clicking and holding the right mouse button and dragging the cursor around. For those who prefer keyboard controls, the traditional WASD can be used, but performs at a much slower rate to the mouse.
You can also tilt the camera down by holding both the left and right mouse buttons down. This allows you to view it from a more ground view perspective or aerial view if you so wish.
Keyboard specific players can use the E button to raise the camera and the Q button to lower it, if that’s how you prefer to play.
Rotating the Camera
Rotating the camera in Planet Zoo is also done very simply. Similar to moving the camera around, except this time you must hold down the middle mouse button.
This allows you to rotate the camera 360 degrees and give you a full view from any angle you so wish.
There doesn’t appear to be a keyboard command for rotating the camera, so a mouse in necessary to perform these actions.
Zooming in and Out
You’re going to want to get up close and personal with your zoo, especially with the large selection of gorgeous animals on display.
To do this, a simple scroll of the mouse wheel will allow you to get right down to the ground or if you wish to have a wider view your zoo, you can scroll the opposite way.
There is a keyboard input for this as you can use the page up button to zoom in or the page down button to zoom out.
