The latest instalment in the Call of Duty franchise has finally arrived. Titled ‘Modern Warfare’ and not to be confused with Call of Duty 4 that goes by the same sub-title, the game focuses on, well… modern warfare. You can play the classic multiplayer action the series is renowned for, complete Spec-Ops missions with a friend, or assume the role of a Tier One operator in the campaign. With three separate modes, some players may be wondering what Modern Warfare’s install size is on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Modern Warfare Install Size on PS4, Xbox One & PC
With three separate modes and plenty of content and pretty visuals to display in each one, Modern Warfare’s install size is pretty huge. On PS4, it comes in at 107 GB, Xbox One is 75 GB, and PC’s ‘recommended’ required space is 175 GB.

This is a pretty giant install size regardless of what platform you’re playing on.
It’s also worth noting that while early indications suggest Modern Warfare’s Xbox One install size is 75 GB, some players are reporting that there’s an update of 14.25gb and the total space taken up by the game within the “Manage Game” option on “My Games & Apps” actually shows 120 GB.
It’s worth noting that as is often the case with Call of Duty titles, Modern Warfare will likely receive several expansions releasing in the 12 months following its release.
These will, of course, add to this initial install size, but may also explain the 120 GB figure that’s seemingly ‘reserved’ for the game on your Xbox One hard drive.
